The Lightning made a few moves before the trade deadline Monday and one of them had an immediate impact. Nick Paul scored a beauty in a losing effort to the Hurricanes, Tampa’s fifth loss in seven games. The good news is there’s plenty of time for them to clinch a playoff berth. The bad news? They’re contending with an even better Panthers team (we see you, Claude Giroux and Ben Chiarot) for the top spot in the Atlantic Division.
