DalMoros Fresh Pasta to Go will relocate to 204 1st Ave. N. on the Jannus Block after outgrowing its original space on Central Avenue. The restaurant plans to reopen on May 1.
According to St. Pete Rising, the new spot sits at the corner of 2nd Street North and 1st Avenue North across from Olivia. It's a 1,100-square-foot space that once housed Moon Mountain, which closed earlier this year after running for about two years. DalMoros first opened in May 2021 at 653 Central Ave.
Ownership had planned to move just a few doors down to 683 Central Ave. Delays piled up over months. The team decided to switch to the Jannus Block instead.
The concept centers on fresh pasta made to order and packaged for takeout. Customers start by picking a pasta shape like fusilli, rigatoni, fettuccine, or bigoli. Then they pair it with a selection of house-made sauces.
Ten sauces are available. Options include Bolognese, cacio e pepe, pesto, and amatriciana — a tomato-based sauce made with smoked pancetta, onions, and black pepper. Diners can add meatballs, chicken, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and various cheeses to their bowls.
Pasta dishes run between $9 and $13, with add-ons available for an extra $1 to $3 each. The menu also features panini sandwiches like Italian Polpette, Chicken Pesto, Caprese, and Mortadella, along with desserts that include tiramisu and lemon sorbetto.
When the eatery reopens on May 1, it won't be the only fresh pasta spot in the area. A similar fresh pasta-to-go concept, Fusillo, opened in the EDGE District.
