Free 3K Run Club Returns to Tampa Riverwalk

Champs Run Club Powered by Nike will host a free running event on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 8 a.m. along Tampa Riverwalk. The race starts and finishes at Armature Works. Runners will follow the waterfront, then loop around the Armature Works property at 1910 North Ola Ave.

Registration costs nothing. The first 150 people to arrive get a Nike T-shirt. FLX members can win prizes all morning.

This marks the sixth time the run club has come to Tampa since its debut in 2024, drawing thousands of runners who've made it one of the most popular gatherings in the region for those who love to hit the pavement.

After the run, participants get recovery amenities and breakfast while supplies last. A party takes over the Armature Works promenade with live DJ sets, a prize wheel, and complimentary food and drinks.

Check-in and registration run from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Warm-ups kick off at 8:40 a.m. The run begins at 8:45 a.m. Cool-down activities, food, drinks, and the prize wheel operate from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with everything wrapping up at 11 a.m.

Runners can visit the new Reimagined Brandon Exchange store to check out running shoes before or after the race. Space is limited, and registration is available online.
