Merry Market Brings Over 80 Local Artisans to Clearwater’s Countryside Mall

Merry Market sits inside Countryside Mall in Clearwater, showcasing more than 80 makers and merchants from around the Bay Area. It's open every day this holiday season.

Lots of vendors are trying out their first brick-and-mortar spot here. The market shines a light on small businesses at the shopping center.

Cheryl Taylor built this market through Community Markets & Events, an organization she runs. She's dedicated herself to helping small businesses grow and thrive in the area.

"This is all about community, coming together and supporting each other," Taylor said, per Tampa Bay 28.

Walk through the aisles and you'll find vendors like Comfee, selling handmade candles, bath bombs, and similar goods. Honey Badgers Bee Farm brings honey blends, teas, and dry rubs to their booth.

On Nov. 25, Taylor will host a Small Business Sip & Shop at the mall. Doors open at 6 p.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Snacks and drinks will be available that night. Santa's stopping by too.

Community Markets & Events has grown into a champion for small businesses across the region, working to connect vendors with shoppers who want to buy local.

The market gives people a chance to back their neighbors during the holidays. Each vendor runs their own booth within the center.
