This Florida man wins Big with Mega Millions. So a man from Palm Beach County spent only $3 on a Mega Millions ticket, winning him $3 million. So his Mega Millions ticket matched all five white ball numbers and he chose the Megaplier option which tripled his winnings.

The Florida man wins big after buying his ticket at a supermarket in West Palm Beach. The place that sold the winning ticket also gets a $5000 bonus.

How To Play Mega Millions

On their website they describe how to play. "Mega Millions tickets cost $2.00 per play. Players may pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers - five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 25 (the gold Mega Ball) - or select Easy Pick/Quick Pick. You win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing. Until further notice, the starting jackpot will vary based on sales and will be announced before each drawing. There are a total of nine ways to win a prize in Mega Millions, ranging from the jackpot down to $2."

The jackpot for Mega Millions has been over $1 billion 6 times when it was won. The biggest jackpot came back in August 2023 when someone from Neptune Beach, Florida won the $1.602 billion jackpot. The person shows the $794.2 million cash out instead. Earlier this year one ticket won the $1.128 billion jackpot in New Jersey. The person chose to take the cash option which was $536.6 million.

There have been a bunch of people right here in Florida that have one big money from Mega Millions. Back in 2018 a man right here in Port Richey won the $450 million jackpot. He ended up taking the $281 million cash option. The crazy thing is is the kid was only 20 years old when he won the jackpot.
