New Attraction Coming To Busch Gardens In 2025
There will be a new attraction coming to Busch Gardens in 2025 that is perfect for the whole family. Wild Oasis. is designed to ignite the imagination and engage all the senses. Busch Gardens said it will be an interactive adventure realm with a drop tower, multi-level, climbing canopy, and an animal habitat for up-close encounters. Wild Oasis will be located in the June gala area of Bush Gardens.
Stewart Clark, President of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay said in a press release “The all-new Wild Oasis truly offers something for everyone – whether you love the thrill of the ride or learning about animals, getting wet or climbing high, or just cooling off under the shade of the rainforest canopy.”
While the exact date is unknown, it does say it will be open in the spring of 2025. If you have a 2025 annual pass, you can check out the new attraction before it opens to the public.
Cool Things Now Open At Busch Gardens
There are many new things are open now at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay including Phoenix Rising. This is a suspended roller coaster that gets up to speeds of 44 mph. According to Busch Gardens, it is a family-friendly ride that has twists and turns.
Also open is Treetop Kitchen. This is on the third floor of the Serengeti overlook. They have different Latin American and African cuisines and you can get a great view of the Serengeti plains at Busch Gardens. What’s nice is that each table will have a QR code where you will be able to get the full menu and then you’ll be able to order from your phone instead of standing in a long line.
History Of Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens officially opened on June 1, 1959. It was a brewery for Anheuser Busch, and a gardens as well. It was an admission-free facility at the time and some of the original animal attractions included a bird show. The first roller coaster that was built at Busch Gardens was Python. It opened on July 1, 1976. It closed on October 31, 2006. You may have heard that the Scorpion recently closed in early September this year. That was the second roller coaster built after the Python. Scorpion’s opening date was May 16, 1980.
