Have Your Own Spooky Halloween-Themed Wedding In Clearwater
Are you ready to say “I Boo”? The Clearwater Halloween-themed weddings are back. A Halloween-themed wedding can be both enchanting and chilling, offering a unique twist on traditional wedding celebrations. This is not the first time that Clearwater has done these types of themed weddings. The Clearwater Halloween-themed weddings are called Scare-amony, which is the perfect name for it. These ceremonies will take place from October 1 through Halloween October 31.
If you can picture yourself in a black dress or with skull, bats, and pumpkin decorations on your wedding day, this would be perfect (and cost-effective) for you. It will be at the wedding ceremony room at the Clearwater courthouse which is located on Court Street. The Clearwater Halloween-themed room will be open on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Walk-ins are available throughout the whole month of October but of course, on October 31 space is very limited due to it being Halloween day. So if you want to get married on Halloween, you need to schedule an appointment on their website.
Courthouse weddings have become very popular, mainly because it’s a lot cheaper than planning a “traditional” wedding at an event venue. If you want to save even more money, the city of Clearwater is offering photographs for just $10, and wedding certificates that are Halloween-themed are available for purchase for $5.
The Clearwater Halloween Wedding Isn’t The Only Themed One
Now, it doesn’t need to just be you and your bride that come to these Clearwater Halloween-themed weddings. You can bring up to 10 guests. You can dress up in your favorite costume, but you are not allowed to put heavy makeup on and if you have a face mask, it must be removable.
The Clearwater clerk’s office do many themed weddings throughout the year, including one for Christmas, Valentine’s and even a May the 4th one.
On their website it gives a little more info. It says, “Please note that a valid marriage license is always required prior to a ceremony. Marriage licenses are valid for 60 days from the date of issuance; therefore, the ceremony must take place between the effective date and the expiration date listed on the license for it to be valid. For more information about obtaining a marriage license and completing the marriage application prior to visiting the Clerk’s Office in person, please visit our website, mypinellasclerk.gov. Recording Services is also available to answer questions at (727) 464-4551.”
