Florida is the most fun state according to a new report. Wallethub put out the annual list of the most fun states in America and Florida is at the top.

So they came up with this list by looking at all 50 states and then at 26 key indicators to find the most fun state. They looked at the cost of a movie ticket, accessibility to national parks, and nightlife options in the state. So why is Florida the most fun state? Well, Florida ranks as the second-best state in entertainment and recreation. The top state is California which came in as the #2 state overall. Additionally, Florida ranked third in nightlife while Nevada ranked #1.

California, New York, Florida, and Texas are tied as the top states for restaurants per capita in the state. Florida isn’t even ranked in the top five in movie theaters per capita. Some of the categories, where Florida is the top state in America in are amusement parks, arcades, and music festivals per capita. Florida also has the most attractions and the best variety of arts, entertainment, and recreation establishments.

Florida Is the Most Fun State Because...

I love that Florida is ranked as the top state because we know how much fun it is here. There are so many fun things to do here.

Here is what Wallethub says about Florida, “In addition, Florida is a great state for people who like to be outside. Although it does have very hot summers, the state has the 12th-best weather overall. It also has the most marinas per capita and the second-most miles of shoreline. Finally, the Florida government spends a lot on parks and recreation, the eighth-most per capita. The average Floridian also spends over $2,000 per year on recreation expenses, the 14th-most in the country.”
