Last time Riley was in town, was Pig Jig back in October. When we saw him there he looked great. It’s obvious that Riley works out and spends time in the gym and taking care of himself. Don’t think he has an ounce of fat on him. His arms are jacked and he has all the ladies starring. We had to bring up how great he looks. Riley Green’s workout motivation is the fact that he’s getting old. That’s what he told us. We laughed, because he is only 35 years old.
He said when he was in his mid 20’s he wasn’t as motivated to work out, but now that he’s older he is. He also said that lots of caffeine helps too. While on tour, he brings along his own trailer gym so he always has a place to workout.
He recently went to London to play on July 4th to play with a bunch of artists like Morgan Wallen and he said it was amazing. The current single he has out now is called “Damn Good Day To Leave“. On his latest EP, “Way Out Here” also has a song called “Jesus Saves” that we spoke to him about too.
Riley has released two albums: Different ‘Round Here in 2019 and Ain’t My Last Rodeo in 2023. Green has charted four top-20 hits on the charts. His songs include: “There Was This Girl“, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died“, “Half of Me” (with Thomas Rhett), and “Different ‘Round Here” (with Luke Combs).
Before he was a recording artist, Green was a Division 1 Quarterback on the Jacksonville State University football team. Green was also a contestant on the CMT reality show Redneck Island. He released a self-titled EP in 2013, followed by additional EPs in 2015, 2016, and 2017. In 2018, he signed to Big Machine Label Group.
