Looking to grow your family? These sweet pups are waiting patiently for their forever home. They've been at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay for over 30 days in hopes to find their new family. Even with spotlights on social media, there's still no luck.

The shelter is now running a limited time offer to waive dog adoption fees for any dog that has been at HSTB for 30+ days.

Why You Should Adopt From The Humane Society of Tampa Bay

All animal lovers will always tell you "adopt don't shop" when looking to introduce a pet to your family. There are so many wonderful animals waiting to be adopted and reasons why you should go to a shelter and not a breeder.

Usually, shelters are more affordable, and in this case, completely free! You support an amazing organization that helps animals all over the Tampa area. And you may also inspire someone to follow in your footsteps and find a shelter dog instead of a breeder.

Not only is the Humane Society of Tampa Bay waiving dog adoption fees, but they'll also send you home with 6 months of free heartworm medicine.

Here are some of the pups available for waived dog adoption fees:

Marley is a terrier/mix who has a rambunctious spirit and tons of energy! As you can see in the video below, he is super playful and gets along with other dogs! Learn more about Marley here.

Bonnie has been at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay since AUGUST OF 2023. This sweet girl was found as a stray and was a little shy at first. In the video below you can see she's now just as comfortable and playful as any pup.

Monique and Handson were found together and have created quite the bond. They were rescued by the HSTB rescue team and we're getting a second chance at a new home! Ideally HSTB would love to find them a home together.

It's always on dog-parent's mind whenever they go out. Can I bring my dog? With so many outdoor restaurants in the Tampa Bay area, a lot of places are accommodating to our four-legged babies. Some even have canine-friendly food on their menu. Whether you want to be near downtown Tampa or by the beach in St. Pete, we have the list of places to bring along your best friend.

We also have a list of the best dog bars in the Tampa Bay area. A lot of those places don't serve food but occasionally have food trucks. Also, dog bars may also require you register your dog to make sure they are healthy and non-aggressive. The best part about taking your pup to a dog-friendly restaurant is that you don't have to worry about that.

We went to Yelp to see what their recommendations are for the best dog friendly restaurants in Tampa Bay. They had a list of 10 places but we condensed it to our favorite 7 spots (and added a few of our own favorite places.) Another great hack is to download the BringFido app. This app will tell you any dog-friendly restaurant or hotel in your current area.
