Luke Combs Gets Back In The Recording Studio
Luke Combs is back in the recording studio in Nashville this week to work on his next album. Luke posted some photos of him in the studio to his Instagram.
He posted a photo of him singing words from his iPhone into a microphone, wearing a black t-shirt that features a stack of cassettes from the 1980s and 1990s country. In more photos, he listens from the soundboard and sits back with his blue ball cap resting on his belly.
He captioned the post, “Good to be back in the studio today…”
Many fans reacted with excitement to his new post, including one fan who observed what he was wearing on his wrist, “Damn, talk about stepping up the watch game. I liked the Rolex’s, but that’s another level!” Another fan gushed, “Thank the Lord. You are a gift @lukecombs.” One more fan said, “Bring the heat, boss!!!”

Combs was announced as a performer at the GRAMMYS. The award show will be live on CBS on February 4, 2024. Luke posted the performer graphic on his Insta Stories this morning. This will be the second year in a row that Combs performs.
Combs is a 2024 GRAMMY nominee for Best Country Solo Performance for “Fast Car,” a song that won both Song and Single awards at the November CMA Awards.
Last year (2023), Luke was nominated for Best Country Album for Growin’ Up. He also was nominated for Best Country Song for “Doin’ This” and Best Group / Duo Performance for his duet with Miranda Lambert, “Outrunnin’ Your Memory.”
Combs said of his nominations at the time, “Getting these Grammy nominations is awesome, you know? You know they don’t come around too often. And so, you know, having the opportunity to be thought of when that time comes is pretty unique and is always, always awesome. ”
Luke was nominated for the all-genre Best New Artist GRAMMY in 2019. He was nominated for a GRAMMY in 2020 in the Best Country Duo / Group Performance for his collaboration with Brooks & Dunn, a remake of their song “Brand New Man.” He has yet to win.
