How Brett Young Found His Voice
Brett Young talked to Tampa Bay’s Hometown Morning Krewe backstage at the Guitar Pull and he told them how he found his voice. He told them that tried to sound like his favorite singers but found his voice when he started singing his own songs. You know it is Brett Young when he starts to sing. He now has many #1 songs under his belt. We are thankful that he performed at the QYK Guitar Pull this year.
Brett Young and his Success in Country Music
Brett Young was just in Tampa with Sam Hunt on the Outskirts Tour. They played the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on September 7th!
Born and raised in California, Brett Young has been one of the biggest names in Country Music since the release of his self titled debut album in 2017. Through the story of heartbreak and love, Young has been able to blend his West-Coast roots with a southern sound to craft his “Caliville” style that continues to show on his fourth studio album released on August 4th. Since Young’s rise to stardom as a country artist, he released his first children’s book “Love You, Little Lady,” published by Tommy Nelson. Not only has his music and work topped the charts on radio, but he co-wrote “Long Way Home” which was featured in the Major Motion Picture ‘Father Stu’ starring Mark Wahlberg.
His unique style has landed him seven No.1 hits including: “In Case You Didn’t Know” (9x Platinum), “Mercy” (4x Platinum), “Sleep Without You” (2x Platinum), and more.
The 99.5 QYK Guitar Pull is not your traditional solo artist performance. This show will feature all of the artists on the same stage, at the same time swapping their stories and songs with nothing but their acoustic guitars. With this event, fans will be on the edge of their seat. There is no setlist and fans get to watch all the artists interact in real time. This is a fan favorite event in Tampa Bay for the best show of the year.
