What To Know About ZooTampa’s Holiday Makeover
ZooTampa is getting a holiday makeover for this year. Christmas In the Wild is returning and will have an even larger light display. Christmas In the Wild at ZooTampa will be starting on November 24th and running through December 23rd. There will be some days that the event will not be happening. Additionally, the hours of operation for Christmas In the Wild are 4 PM to 10 PM for those days. Finally, the event also runs December 26th through December 30th and the hours for that will be 4 PM to 9 PM.
Here is what ZooTampa’s webiste says about the event, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year at ZooTampa with the return of Christmas in the Wild, featuring one of Tampa Bay’s largest light displays, delectable holiday treats, amazing wildlife and new festive adventures. This year is BIGGER, better, and brighter than ever, with festive entertainment that the whole family will enjoy.”
If you were a member of ZooTampa, it is free for you to attend Christmas In the wild. Secondly, if you are a pay for a day ticket holder you also can get in free. Finally, if you are not a member, a general admission event ticket after 4 PM is $29.95. This year they will have, more lights than ever before, music and surprises. They also have animal experiences during the event. Additionally, they will be fun and interactive family shows throughout the park. Finally, of course there will be treats and drinks while you enjoy walking around Christmas in the wild.
ZooTampa is located on Sligh Avenue in Tampa and they are open daily from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. ZooTampa originated in the 1930’s and they have 56 acres of property in Tampa. You can also watch the television show “Secrets of the Zoo” on Nat Geo WILD. That series was filmed entirely at ZooTampa, and it gives a behind-the-scenes look at some of the stories of the amazing animals and how they are cared for by the team at ZooTampa

The person to their right then must continue with the next line of the song, and so on. You can choose from timeless classics like Jingle Bells or opt for a more contemporary holiday hit like Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas is You. While you might know the opening lines of these songs, it becomes quite a challenge as the game progresses.

Distribute four slips of paper to each participant. Every guest is tasked with jotting down two positive Christmas gifts and two negative ones: one from their real experiences and one fabricated. Collect all the slips in a container and let the group take turns guessing which presents were genuinely given and which were made up.

Make a big plastic wrap ball stuffed with little gifts like mini liquor bottles, gift cards, candy, and cash. One person starts by unwrapping it, while someone else takes the dice and tries to roll doubles. Here’s a fun party game you can enjoy with friends or family anytime, anywhere. You split into two teams, and each player writes down 5 celebrity names on pieces of paper. You take turns being the clue-giver. In round one, the clue-giver describes the celebrity without saying their name or nickname, and the team guesses. In round two, you can only use one word as a clue. Round three is like Charades, where you act out the celebrity without speaking. Keep score to see which team guesses the most celebrities correctly. It’s a great game for any gathering.
