What To Know About ZooTampa’s Holiday Makeover
ZooTampa is getting a holiday makeover for this year. Christmas In the Wild is returning and will have an even larger light display. Christmas In the Wild at ZooTampa will be starting on November 24th and running through December 23rd. There will be some days that the event will not be happening. Additionally, the hours of operation for Christmas In the Wild are 4 PM to 10 PM for those days. Finally, the event also runs December 26th through December 30th and the hours for that will be 4 PM to 9 PM.
Here is what ZooTampa’s webiste says about the event, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year at ZooTampa with the return of Christmas in the Wild, featuring one of Tampa Bay’s largest light displays, delectable holiday treats, amazing wildlife and new festive adventures. This year is BIGGER, better, and brighter than ever, with festive entertainment that the whole family will enjoy.”
If you were a member of ZooTampa, it is free for you to attend Christmas In the wild. Secondly, if you are a pay for a day ticket holder you also can get in free. Finally, if you are not a member, a general admission event ticket after 4 PM is $29.95. This year they will have, more lights than ever before, music and surprises. They also have animal experiences during the event. Additionally, they will be fun and interactive family shows throughout the park. Finally, of course there will be treats and drinks while you enjoy walking around Christmas in the wild.
ZooTampa is located on Sligh Avenue in Tampa and they are open daily from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. ZooTampa originated in the 1930’s and they have 56 acres of property in Tampa. You can also watch the television show “Secrets of the Zoo” on Nat Geo WILD. That series was filmed entirely at ZooTampa, and it gives a behind-the-scenes look at some of the stories of the amazing animals and how they are cared for by the team at ZooTampa
