Vietnam Veteran Honored By Family Friend
A Vietnam Veteran was honored today by a family friend for Military Monday. John reached out to Tampa Bay’s Morning Krewe to share the story of his friend Steve. The two met after John was a guardian for Steve on a Honor Flight to Washington DC. This trip was through the Honor Flight Networks. They are a non profit organization that honors our veterans by taking them on trips to see our Nations Memorials. Steve served in the United States Army and was deployed to fight in the Vietnam War. After John and Steve met on an honor flight to the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial Wall they became good friends. Josh shared Steve’s love for life, his endless stories, and how much he has meant to his family. Today truly was a Vietnam Veteran being honored by a family friend.
Congrats to Steve as he receives a $100 gift card from our friends at Stingray Chevrolet.
