Tampa Bay Paramedic Honored By Brother
Today a Tampa Bay Paramedic was honored by his brother for First Responder Friday. Clayton joined Tampa Bay’s Hometown Morning Krewe to share his brother’s service with us. His brother Cody serves our community as a paramedic but he also was a combat medic in the Army. After returning from deployment he witnessed a car crash that would change his career path forever. On the day of the crash his calling to serve was sparked again after performing CPR on one of those involved in the crash. Clearly his training as a Combat Medic was utilized to once again save lives. It was at this time that he felt a need to continue helping people by becoming a paramedic. Today Clayton is also furthering his medical education to become a Nurse Practitioner. We are thankful for his service as a Tampa Bay Paramedic and for the chance to honor him.
Every Friday we honor a first responder in Tampa Bay. Do you have someone in your life that is a first responder? Someone that you admire, a relative, a friend? Whoever it is that you want to spotlight. We want to hear from you, and you can nominate someone right now by doing so HERE. The nomination process takes about five minutes. Once you nominate someone we will be in touch with you to schedule a call with you.
