A man saves his drowning dog from huge kangaroo. Most dog owners would do the same thing, even thought it’s probably not a good idea to fight a kangaroo. They are extremely strong. In the video you can see just how strong this kangaroo is. That didn’t stop Mick Moloney from trying to save his dog.
This obviously happened in Australia. Mick and his dog Hatchi went to the beach and when he noticed his dog was missing, he went looking for him. That is when he noticed the Kangaroo in the water. Moloney said the animal looked “jacked” and “buff”, like he just got out of jail. He spotted his dog as it was being held down by the kangaroo and almost drowning it in the water. While he had never fought an animal, Moloney knew he had to save his dog. Coincidentally, Mick is a martial arts instructor so he used that to his advantage. Mick ran into the water to rescue his dog from being drowned by the animal. Walked right up to it and started slapping it in the face.
He managed to record a part of the fight before the camera was hit down by the kangaroo. Moloney then splashed some water on its face and was able to carry his dog away.
Maoloney Recorded A Video During The Fight
Moloney posted the video on Facebook and it went viral. He commented that his dog was “good” and had recovered from the experience. People also are now asking him fighting tips and praised his bravery. He also added a disclaimer expressing that he wasn’t trying to be mean to the kangaroo, but that he just wanted to save his dog. He doesn’t plan on having anymore fights with kangaroos – he commented: ” My tussling with roo days are pretty much done though, cause that thing was strong.”
Could you fight a kangaroo? to save my dog, I probably would too.
