Major Riverview Entrance Ramp To I-75 Opening This Weekend
A major Riverview entrance ramp to northbound I-75 is opening this weekend. So, if you’re driving along westbound Big Bend Road in Riverview you can go northbound on I-75. The entrance ramp will be open Saturday, October 7. The opening on Saturday will be weather permitting. If you’re driving eastbound on Big Bend Road you will continue to access 75 from the existing northbound 75 entrance ramp.
This project is part of a $81.7 million project which is reconstructing the Interstate 75 interchange at Big Bend Road. They also will be widening Big Bend between Covington Garden Drive and Simmons Loop. Finally, they will be rebuilding the bridges over Old Big Bend Road and Big Bend Road. They are expected to finish the project in the summer of 2025.
The FDOT will also be extending the southbound 75 exit ramp lane approaching Big Bend Road. They will also be adding a dual right-turn lanes to westbound Big Bend. Secondly, they will be adding a triple right-turn lane controlled by a signal from the southbound 75 exit ramp to eastbound Big Bend. Finally, they are adding signalized dual left-turn movements from westbound Big Bend to southbound 75 and eastbound Big Bend to northbound 75.

It’s possible that the Tampa Bay area isn’t the most well-known part of Florida, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its own special allure. There are many more that are on this list that Tampa is famous for. Come on, this is supposed to be our home! There are several reasons why people refer to this location as “famous,” despite the fact that the rush and bustle of daily life keeps us moving.
In general, Tampa is well-known for its bustling Ybor City, which is where visitors may learn why the city is sometimes referred to as the Cigar Capital of the World. Busch Gardens and the Florida Aquarium are just two of the many breathtaking museums and amusement parks that can be found in the Tampa area. And let’s not forget about the Cuban influences that it has, as well as the world-famous Cuban sandwich!
In point of fact, Tampa Bay is well-known for a variety of things; hence, I’ve chosen to write this post so that I can discuss some of those accomplishments. Maybe even bring us all back down to earth a bit to appreciate it’s pride and beauty. And hey, if all of this is nothing new to you, pass it along to someone who is new to the area!
