The SandSerpent roller coaster, which shut down on July 4 of this year, is replaced by the new coaster.
According to Stewart Clark, president of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, "Phoenix Rising will be an extraordinary journey for our seasoned coaster enthusiasts and younger thrill-seekers alike." This new ride, which joins a sizable collection of roller coasters, "reinforces our commitment to provide guests with new, immersive, and distinctive experiences."
