New Coaster Coming To Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced details on its 10th roller coaster opening in spring 2024. A new roller coaster coming to Busch Gardens for the whole family!
Phoenix Rising is the largest family-friendly addition to the Pantopia area of the park and will be the first coaster to feature onboard audio. Family members will soar above the Serengeti Plain before embarking on an exploration flight over Pantopia, a place known for its vivid colors, adrenaline activities, and more, according to a press statement from the theme park.
Roller coaster Phoenix Rising, which is being built by Bolliger & Mabillard, reportedly travels the 1,831 feet at a top speed of 44 miles per hour.
The coaster will be the ideal attraction for thrill-seeking families to go on and enjoy together because it has a minimum height requirement of 42 inches, the park said in a release. So excited to welcome a new roller coaster coming to Busch Gardens!
The SandSerpent roller coaster, which shut down on July 4 of this year, is replaced by the new coaster.
According to Stewart Clark, president of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, “Phoenix Rising will be an extraordinary journey for our seasoned coaster enthusiasts and younger thrill-seekers alike.” This new ride, which joins a sizable collection of roller coasters, “reinforces our commitment to provide guests with new, immersive, and distinctive experiences.”
