How You Can Get Your Chick-fil-A Even Faster Now

There is a way to get your Chick-fil-A even faster now when you’re getting it around Tampa Bay. Chick-fil-A will be adding express drive through lanes. These will be for mobile orders only. Now, they are not coming to all Chick-fil-A’s right away but they will be coming to hundreds of locations.

The lane will be reserved exclusively for people who order ahead on the Chick-fil-A app. When you order through the app there will be a selection where you click 'mobile thru' for your pick up destination. When you get into the mobile lane you will have the employee scan a QR code on your app. After that you will get your food. If the project is successful it will expand to more locations in 2024. There are over 2,800 Chick-fil-A locations across the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Julie Ledford, the principal program lead on Chick-fil-A’s Service and Hospitality team, says "Our hope with Mobile Thru is to help guests experience the drive-thru quicker than ever before. By dedicating one of our lanes exclusively for mobile order pickup, we are creating an easier and more efficient experience for our guests on the go.”

There is no word on which resturants in Tampa Bay will be getting the new 'mobile thru' lanes.

Recently, they announced that they brought back the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich. Also, the caramel crumble milkshake has returned to the restaurant. The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich has an original Chick-fil-A filet. It is also it also has creamy pimento cheese, mild pickled jalapeños and served on a warm toasted bun drizzled with sweet honey.

They also announced that they will be opening up five restaurants in the United Kingdom. The first store will open in 2025. Chick-fil-A also announced they intend to open restaurants in Europe and Asia by 2026.

Chick-fil-A is one of the many food staples here in Florida. While some may find it overrated, we think it's the most consistent fast food company there is. Chick-fil-A prides themselves on great customer service and a quality product. But you know people on the internet will always have their own opinion. So we decided to rank the best Tampa Chick-fil-A stores based on customer reviews. Here's what we found.

You can almost always count on there being a line at any Chick-fil-A location, especially during peak hours. So it's not uncommon that some people will avoid a certain location because the drive-thru is always backed up or they don't like how the building/drive-thru lanes are structured. Chick-fil-A was also one of the first companies that had employees taking orders in the drive thru lane to help speed up the process.

There are over 20 Chick-fil-A locations across Tampa. To help save time, we left out the locations at malls, schools, Busch Gardens, and the airport. Meaning we'll just be ranking the stand alone stores across Tampa. These locations can range from Temple Terrace to South Tampa and even Brandon. Note: we also left out the Bearss Ave location since it is currently being remodeled.

First, we went to www.chick-fil-a.com/locations and searched for Tampa. We initially had less than 10 results but expanded our search to show all of their locations. Then we looked at how that store ranked based on the number of Google reviews and the rating. Remember these are not our reviews, just gathering what other people have been saying. Some people just love to complain on the internet, so we don't judge based off other people's reviews. Odds are if we're hungry for Chick-fil-A, a couple of internet opinions aren't going to stop us.
