First A.I. Artist Signed To Record Label Releases Single
Never thought that Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood would have to compete against A.I., but it looks like they might have to. The first A.I. artist signed to record label releases single. This is not a country song, but a pop song and honestly, isn’t that bad. The A.I. artist is named NooNoouri and her single is called Dominoes.
First A.I. Artist Releases Single
Warner Music has signed NooNoouri, the world’s first AI virtual pop singer and Instagram influencer. Her debut single, “Dominoes” was released on September 1st and already has hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. A graphic designer created the look of the character, while her singing voice is an AI manipulation of a human singer’s voice. The songwriters, singers, and musicians involved in the song will still get royalties and publishing splits.
So why are they creating A.I. artists when there are already so many out there that will never see a record deal? That is a good question. However, this is not good for struggling artists. It is already so difficult for artists to get exposure on radio platforms and now they may have to compete against A.I.
Who is NooNoouri
Noonoouri is entirely digital, existing solely on the internet without the limitations of aging, fatigue, or sleep. She is 19 and already has endorsement deals with famous labels and advertisers including Kim Kardashian’s makeup line.
Noonoouri was brought to life by a 43-year-old graphic designer named Joerg Zuber from Munich. Zuber introduced Noonoouri to the public in late 2017. The virtual popstar already has over 405k Instagram followers. She has collaborations with huge brands like Marc Jacobs, Dior, and Versace and has established connections with supermodels such as Naomi Campbell.

A.I. is changing the world we live in for sure. Many people are going to lose their jobs due to the technology. Just never thought it would be artists who we play on the radio. Although, I don’t think the country fans are going to choose A.I. over Jason Aldean or Moran Wallen.

Five Country Stars Who Are Fine Actors: Lainey, Reba, McGraw
Today (9/8) is National Actor’s Day, a day set aside to celebrate the work that actors all over the world give us in telling stories and entertaining us. Actors’ Day aims to show appreciation for actors in our lives by showcasing their history and how they have influenced people’s lives.
According to Days of the Year, actors began way back in 534 BC. During that year, Thespis stepped onto the stage at the Theatre Dionysus to become the first known performer to speak a character’s words and express their story.
Because of Thespis, actors today are sometimes commonly referred to as Thespians. Of course, today’s actors are currently on strike.
Here are a couple of fun facts about the acting profession:
- Acting, since the times of Ancient Greece, has become an art form, a form of entertainment that has transcended time.
- During its time of Catholic influence in the Middle Ages, it attempted to deem acting as a dangerous, immoral, and pagan art form, which lowered its popularity significantly.
- The Renaissance period then brought it back and transformed it again with morality plays, and then came William Shakespeare in the 1700s, who solidified theater acting in its place.
- Actors were all male until the late 19th century, when women began to appear in plays and movies in their own right.
- Since then, acting has become a highly respected art form, as famous actors worldwide play characters from plays, books, and scripts through theater plays, Broadway shows, and films.
In honor of Actors’ Day, we focus on five country music superstars who have had significant success in the acting profession. We know that many country singers over the years, like Randy Travis, Kenny Rogers, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Trace Adkins, Bill Ray Cyrus, Willie Nelson, and even Blake Shelton, have dabbled in acting, but these five stood out.
