WKMG says that a Florida woman poses as high school student, is now facing charges.

What went down?

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that on August 25, officials at Tavares High School in Tavares got a tip that an adult was trespassing on school grounds that morning. Officials say that the school security officer later found the suspect, 21-year-old Dakota Adams, near the auditorium and talked to her.

Adams allegedly told police that she was a 19-year-old student at the high school when they asked her about herself. Deputies said that she was also seen on the school grounds by security cams.

But why?

She was taken into prison because she broke the law by entering and lied to police. No one knows why she supposedly did this.

This has been done before:

Adults have been caught all over the country trying to be high school students. A 28-year-old woman tried to get into a Louisiana school as a 17-year-old earlier this year. During a junior varsity game in Virginia, a high school basketball teacher who was 22 years old tried to pass himself off as a 13-year-old player.

Authorities accused a 26-year-old guy who went to a high school in Nebraska of several sex crimes. This was one of the worst cases.
