Getty RFDog with human face goes viral. Have you seen "Yogi". Yogi is a fluffy Shih-poo. People thinks Yogi looks a lot like a human.
Looks like this story has been around for awhile, but its making its rounds again, we had never seen it and were amused by it.
A picture of Yogi and his buddy Daria, an 8 year old Shih Tzu, was posted on Reddit and it blew up because of the comment, "It looks like it has a man's face".
Yogi's owner, Chantal Desjardins, didn’t think anything of the picture and just wanted to share her two dogs. However, people on the internet quickly noticed that there were remarkable human-like features to Yogi’s face. In the photo, there is a clear difference between Yogi and Daria, as Yogi has large eyes with well-defined pupils and irises. Additionally, his lips are more of a cynical pout than other dogs, giving him human like features.
Was Picture Photoshopped
In today's digital age, it is too easy to photoshop pictures. Yogi's owner was asked if this was an original photo and she replied that it was not doctored at all. The pictures are of her dogs that she posted in December with no edits. She is not a photographer. She never thought her dog looked like a human before this picture. She believes this picture captures human like features on him.
What do you think? Does Yogi have a human face?
Some are comparing Yogi to Nicolas Cage dressed an an Ewok. Chantal says that Yogi is a good boy, and not at all like Nicolas Cage, or any other man, film actor or not. It's perhaps just the lighting, angle, and expression that has made the dog look so much like a person.
