Before I kick this off… I have to say… I write a lot about food. I now realize I need to possibly check my cholesterol levels. Or possibly I’m just a foodie, and enjoy checking out new and interesting spots. Yea…I’m gonna go with that last one.

These eateries and hangouts are more likely to cater to the local community, yet many of them offer a unique and endearing quality that can’t be found anyplace else. On top of that, the cuisine and products are often traditional forms of comfort, such as burgers, milkshakes, and lots of fries, among other things.
