Firstly, a website called Menu Price analyzed Google data on 30 popular candy bars to see which ones were the most popular in each state and in the country.
Say, you are at the vending machine and you are trying to make a decision of which candy bar you want. If you are in the state of Florida, then you are most likely going to choose a Snickers. Snickers is the #1 chocolate bar in Florida. Snickers is the #1 chocolate bar in five states, but it isn't #1.
Milky Way is #1 in the nation. It is the most popular in eight states. Alabama, Delaware, California, Georgia, Mississippi, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Virginia love Milky Way.
The reason why the list was created is to celebrate World Chocolate Day, which is July 7th every year. The day was established in 2009 and it commemorates chocolate’s arrival in Europe in 1550.

Kit Kat
