They are now going through what divorce couples do, splitting up the assets and figuring out who's going to pay for what.
According to Extra, Christine Baumgartner is asking for $248,000 a month, which is a quarter of million dollars a month to care for their three kids. Wow. That's a lot of money each month. Is that a little obsessive? Costner thinks the same thing. Kevin makes it clear from his legal docs, he thinks his estranged wife's ask is highway robbery. Christine says it is "less than the amount required to maintain the children in their habitual lifestyle."
Not only that, she is also asking the actor to cover all costs associated with their children's extracurricular activities, private school tuition, and medical treatment. The three children are between the ages of 13 and 16.
Costner promised $38,000 per month, and $30,000 each month so she could rent a house for the family. All of this is on top of the $1 million he has previously given her.
Costner earned just over $19.5 million in 2022, and their combined costs came to $6.65 million. This meant maintaining many residences, traveling, and hosting events. Costner has also charged his wife with failing to leave their house within 30 days of filing for divorce last week. They have lived in the home in California for over 20 years. According to the papers, Kevin and Christine’s prenup requires her to vacate all three of his homes within 30 days of filing for divorce. She filed on May 1.
Maybe he will get back to work on Yellowstone, sounds like he may need the money.

1988 was a big year in movies with such blockbusters like Beaches and the ultimate Christmas movie Die Hard starring Bruce Willis. 1988 also saw the movie career of then TV star Tom Hanks transform into a movie star in Big. Of course, there was Rain Man, which earned Dustin Hoffman a Best Actor Oscar.
It was also a year when we saw just how Scrooged Bill Murray could be and talked a lot about A Fish Called Wanda. Young Guns brought Westerns back to the movie screen in a big way with an all-star cast that included Emilio Estevez and Keifer Sutherland. And who could forget the Eddie Murphy classic Coming To America? It was a big year for movies, no doubt.
