ACM award winner Zach Bryan and his girlfriend Debra Piefer have called it quits, and Zach posted the news to his Twitter. Bryan wrote on Twitter, "For transparency and with respect, I am letting everyone know Debra and me went our separate ways about a week and a half ago. Things are mutual between us; we're leaving with plenty of memories and good times."

He added, "I beg so much that everyone respects her and my privacy through a hard time." Many fans reacted to his post with one writing, "Thinking of you & Debbie Zach. Life change is difficult but more so on a stage. Sending love to both of you." Another fan commented, "This means people can stop berating the man and Deb about their situation. Let them live in peace." One more fan said, "Oh man, the music that is going to come from this. But my regards are sent!"

Zach Bryan is a singer/songwriter from Oologah, Oklahoma. The 25-year-old served seven years in the Navy before being honorably discharged. His biggest hit has been his song "Something In The Orange." He most recently won a 2023 ACM Award in the New Male Artist category.

The song's lyrics, written by Bryan, include, "I need to hear you say you've been waitin' all night / There's orange dancing in your eyes from bulb light / Your voice only trembles when you try to speak / Take me back to us dancing, this wood used to creak / To you I'm just a man, to me you're all I am / Where the hell am I supposed to go? / I poisoned myself again / Something in the orange tells me you're never coming home."

Bryan made his Grand Ole Opry debut in April of 2021. He later signed a deal with Warner Records. In May of 2022, Zach released his debut triple album American Heartbreak. It debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200 with over 70,000 album-equivalent units, marking the biggest first week for a country album in 2022.

As Bryan begins his rise in country music and beyond, we take a look at the last couple of years in country music through images.
