Check out these Mothers Day deals and freebies in Tampa.  First, mothers Day is this coming Sunday and you can treat mom to a special day without spending a ton of money.  Second, there are a bunch of places in and around the Tampa Bay area that have good deals going on to celebrate Mothers Day.  Finally, whether you spend the day celebrating, grieving, or acting like it’s another Sun-day Fun-day, you can take advantage of this year’s Mother’s Day food deals and freebies.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

Every mom who dines at a BJ’s Restaurant during Mother’s Day weekend will receive a complimentary stemless wine glass to take home. Also, from May 1 through June 18, guests who buy a $50 eGift card will receive an additional $10 gift card. In addition to this, the bonus cards can be redeemed between June 19 and July 9, 2023.

Carvel

Purchase $25 in gift cards and get a $5 reward card redeemable from June 19 through August 31, 2023.  Also, from now through May 14, get $5 off any round cakes ordered on DoorDash, Grubhub, or Uber Eats.

KFC

Between May 10th and 14th, customers can purchase a “Nuggets of Appreciation meal,” which consists of their choice of 8 pc. Henry B. Plant Museum

From noon to 5, moms get free admission to the Henry B. Plant museum on Mother’s Day. The museum is a 19th century hotel turned historic landmark.

All mothers will get free admission on Mother’s Day. Be sure to stop by to hear the Carillon Concerts at 1 pm and 3 pm.

 

Clearwater Marine Aquarium

Florida Aquarium

5 Favorite Summer Camps For Kids In Tampa

It’s crazy to think that most schools will be out in a few weeks. Then what do you do with your kids all summer?  It’s a good idea to start planning now.   Here are 5 favorite summer camps for kids in Tampa.

A summer program provides a safe environment for children to develop social skills, decision-making skills, and experience the great outdoors.  Socialization during childhood is good for growth and development.

Lots of parents send their kids to camps to keep them active and busy and off the iPad’s and phones.

Most communities have their own summer camps to help out busy parents, but we complied a list of our favorites.   We also dig some digging and found so many opportunities.  There are so many different types of events that you can get involved in Tampa.  Programs for your children during off school months can help out working parents and also keep kids engaged through out the summer.  It’s a good idea to keep kids active and moving so that returning to the school year isn’t so hard on them.  Plus it is a great opportunity to expose them to new ideas and activities.  Keeping them active helps as they return to the start of the school year.

If your child loves sports, the outdoors, crafts or cooking, there are many programs and summer camps you can get your kids involved in.
