Clearwater Beach is up for "Best Beach In The South". This is from USA Today's 10Best awards. Actually there are 10 Florida beaches up for the best beach. Other than Clearwater, Venice Beach is the next closest beach to Tampa Bay.

Firstly, you can vote once per day until Monday, May 22 at noon ET. Secondly, the winning beach will be announced on Friday, June 2.

Behind them was Hawaii with three beaches on the list. Some of the Florida beaches on their list are pretty obvious, since they've been voted best beach in the country on numerous occasions. I mean... DUH. Clearwater Beach has been named one of the best beaches in America for multiple years. On top of their gorgeous white sand and clear blue waters, there's so much to do around Clearwater Beach.

Siesta Key has also been commonly known for their gorgeous white sand beaches. And if you'd like to get away from the large beach crowds, this spot is even better. Best of all the sand is made up of nearly all quartz. This means that you can actually walk barefoot on the beach without burning the bottom of your feet.

We feel that Caladesi is one of the most underrated beaches in the Tampa Bay area. Most people just settle for the Dunedin Causeway but it's so worth it to take the ferry over to the island where there are usually less people.
