Luke Combs played two shows at Nashville's Nissan Stadium over the weekend, keeping the crowd on their feet for the entire two-show show. The show featured all of Luke's big hits. He sang them flawlessly, and at one point in the show, he shared with the crowd what his brand-new single on the radio would be.
Combs told the excited crowd, "So, about a week and a half ago, I guess, I announced that I was going to let you guys decide what my next single was going to be at country radio. And we had a vote. You could vote on 'Love You Anyway' or '5 Leaf Clover.' Which one you wanted me to put out on the radio, and it was real close."
He added before singing the song, "I think it was 51%-49%. So it was neck in neck. But the song we're about to play you right now is the winner. I got my friend Wes from Flatland Calvary on the fiddle playing for us So yeah, this is my next single at country radio; it's called 'Love You Anyway.' "
Luke also revealed at the show that it was the first time his eight-month-old son Tex saw him perform live as his wife Nicole stood side-stage for the performance on Saturday night (4/15).
While the show didn't give too many surprises, Combs welcomed tour opener Riley Green to sing a song with him. Lainey Wilson, who is also on the show's bill, joined him halfway through the show to sing a duet called "Outrunnin' Your Memory," an album cut that featured Miranda Lambert on his CMA Album of the Year, Growin' Up.

Last week (4/13), Combs announced that he is opening his own Nashville bar and venue. It will be at the location of the famous Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville. The venue is expected to open in 2024.
In a statement about the yet-to-be-named venue, Luke said, "I got my start in town playing on this stage (Wildhorse Saloon). And to have the opportunity to work with Opry Entertainment to transform it into my own bar is a dream come true. I can't wait for my fans to see what we're up to."
The 69,000-square-foot venture opens at 120 2nd Avenue N, taking the place of Wildhorse Saloon, a longtime Ryman-owned country bar and ticketed venue that opened in 1994.
Luke Combs is getting ready to release his latest album, Growing Old, later this month (3/24), and then he kicks off his world tour, which will play stadiums all over the world. That is not bad for a guy who studied criminal justice in college just over ten years ago.
As his country star continues to rise, Luke became a new dad in July of last year (2022) and has been busy helping out his wife Nicole take care of his son Tex. He also performed as a multiple nominee at the Grammy Awards show in February (2/5).
