Florida Attraction Let’s You Swim With Alligators
Florida attraction lets you swim with alligators. Are you up for this?
There is an underwater tour in Homestead, Florida where you can actually swim with an alligator. First of all, there is a net barrier between you and the reptile. Second, the tour is 30-minutes long. On the tour you will learn about the animal and attend a safety briefing before entering the 30,000-gallon aquatic habitat with the reptile. Thirdly, only you and wildlife expert Chris Gillette, will be in the habitat.
Finally, you won’t be able to touch a gator, for safety reasons, but you will be able to get pretty close to observe its behavior.
This is only offered at Everglades Outpost, a wildlife rescue in Homestead. The price is $250 and can be booked online on the wildlife rescue’s website. It is located about an hour south of Miami, so about a 4 hour drive from Tampa.
The Everglades Outpost was created in 1991 to take in hurt and injured wildlife, rehabilitate it, and release it back into the wild.
