Spring Breakers Blowout Tampa International Record
Spring breakers blowout Tampa International to airport record. Tampa International Airport has set a new record for the highest number of passengers accommodated in a single day. Wow. Sunday, March 19, the airport had experienced its busiest day in history, surpassing its all-time record for the number of travelers.
They tell us about 90,300 passengers traveled through TPA, breaking the previous record set in 2019 with 87,000 passengers. The airport had also accommodated around 89,000 passengers the day before on Saturday, March 18. This weekend’s passenger volume was measured to be in the same general range as the previous weekend, March 11-12.
The significant increase in daily passengers at Tampa International Airport is a promising sign of travel recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. Compared to the same period in 2022, there were around 3,000-5,000 more daily passengers this year, indicating a positive trend in the travel industry’s recovery.
