Almost 4000 Homes Will Take Over Gigantic Ranch In Pasco County
Almost 4000 homes will take over gigantic ranch on Pasco County. The Pasco Planning Commission has given its first approval for the development of a large rural area in Pasco County. The 4G Ranch property spans 2,900 acres just east of the intersection of U.S. 41 and State Road 52. The development plan includes thousands of homes, offices, stores, and conservation areas.
It was a unanimous vote that calls for the county to move the property from it’s agricultural designation to a planned development. Close to 3,000 acres, the are will host 3,800 homes and condos, an close to 300,000 square feet for offices, shopping, and restaurants.
The land is designated as a transition area between West Pasco’s higher density development and more rural East Pasco. The Florida Department of Transportation has included widening of SR 52 in its future work plan. The development would be divided into two areas on either side of a conservation zone. TBT
