Spring forward Tampa Bay, this weekend!Daylight Saving Time (DST) is set to begin on March 12, 2023, at 2 a.m., when we “spring forward” by one hour. While some devices will update automatically, most people will need to manually set their clocks ahead one hour. DST will end on the first Sunday of November. Is that what you want hear in Tampa Bay? The Senate has approved the Sunshine Protection Act to make DST permanent nationwide, which would eliminate the need to change clocks twice a year. Would that drive you Cukoo like the clock?

The legislation, however, stalled in the House due to a disagreement over whether to keep standard time or permanent DST. If the bill becomes law, Americans will not “fall back” in November, which some health experts argue could be harmful to young students, leading to more seasonal depression, learning struggles, and physical health problems. On the other hand, proponents of the bill argue that DST saves energy, reduces traffic fatalities and crime, and increases economic activity. get ready to spring forward Tampa Bay!  News Channel 8

Is Your Florida City On The Dirtiest List

Is your Florida city on the dirtiest list? Ewww. I don't want to know. Bu, we gotta know. Lawnstarter created a list of the dirtiest cities in America. Houston came in at number one. Out of the 152 cities on the list, 9 of them are in Florida. Lawnstarter compared the cities across 4 categories. Pollution, Living Conditions, Infrastructure And Consumer Satisfaction. 9 Florida cities made the list out of 152 cities across the U.S., but only 2 of them were in the top 20. Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale were the dirtiest cities in Florida, ranked at #18 and #20 in this study.

We try to respect our beaches here in Florida, but can’t always guarantee that the tourists do the same. Is Your city on this list? Are you shocked? Below are the 9 cities that made the list! Some on this list I am shocked by. I didn’t think Hollywood or St. Pete would be on here. Lawnstarter
