18-Year-Old wins the lottery on the very first try and it isn’t just a little amount of money. Juliette Lamour of Ontario, Canada won $48 million. She made history as she is the youngest person to win tens of millions of Canadian dollars.
“I just turned 18 and my grandfather suggested I buy the lottery ticket for fun,” Lamour told Global News. “When I went to the store, I wasn’t sure what to ask for because I had never bought a ticket before, so I called my dad who told me to buy a LOTTI 6-49 Quick Pick.”
Hopefully Juliette took care of her grandfather for making the suggestion. She is a college student and plans to finish her studies and travel before heading back to school to become a doctor and practice medicine.
When she found out she had won her job told her she could leave early. Even though this 18-year-old wins the lottery on the very first try her mother told her to finish her shift at work.

Nine Florida restaurants made into the Top 100. Latitudes in Key West is one of them and Truluck’s in Naples is also on the list. Finally, Kyle G’s Prime Seafood in Stuart is also on the list. There is also one in Sarasota and that place is the Dry Dock Waterfront Grill on Longboat Key. It overlooks Sarasota Bay where you might see dolphins and pelicans while dining.

The website Brides put together the list of the top 20 best cities in United States for a romantic getaway. There are two Florida cities that made the top 20. Firstly, coming in at number six is Miami. Finally the other Florida city that comes in in the top 20 is Amelia Island. They didn’t do a study about this. They just came up with a list from their writers. Even though Tampa isn’t on the list there many romantic things to do here. It is reflected in the restaurants that were picked.
