St. Pete Is One Of America’s Best Cities for Work-Life Balance
St. Pete is one of America’s best cities for work-life balance. The report comes from CoworkingCafe. They ranked some of the largest U.S. cities by “their capacity to foster a healthy work/life balance for their working populations based on economic, cultural, and infrastructural factors, as well as their psychological influence.”
The list consists of 100 cities with at least 200,000 residents. They assigned scores based on mental health metrics, such as the amount of green space and recreational amenities, air quality and work hours.
Having a healthy work-life balance is super important. Many employees agree that mental and physical health outweigh jobs and salaries when evaluating their overall wellbeing. With no work-life balance, it’s more likely that workers are going to burnout and quit. Balancing work and life differs from person to person as much as it differs from place to place. Some factors, like remote work schedules or employee engagement are more important factors to some people.
St. Pete came in at #18 on the list of America’s best cities for work-life balance. Other Florida cities on the list are Jacksonville, which is #25. Tampa came in at #53.

Four Tampa Restaurants Named As Most Romantic In America
Four Tampa restaurants have been named as some of the most romantic in America. This is according to Opentable, which released their list of the “100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for 2023”.
Opentable says on their website, “Food is its own love language, but when it’s served in a cozy room or a candlelit booth? Guaranteed fireworks. For those looking for a quintessential Valentine’s Day dining experience, start with the most romantic restaurants across the US, created by analyzing over 13 million reviews.”
Valentine’s Day is coming up on February 14th and if you need a place to have dinner that night this list should help. Getting a reservation on Valentine’s Day is always tough, so make sure you get one soon.
Nine Florida restaurants made into the Top 100. Latitudes in Key West is one of them and Truluck’s in Naples is also on the list. Finally, Kyle G’s Prime Seafood in Stuart is also on the list. There is also one in Sarasota and that place is the Dry Dock Waterfront Grill on Longboat Key. It overlooks Sarasota Bay where you might see dolphins and pelicans while dining.

The website Brides put together the list of the top 20 best cities in United States for a romantic getaway. There are two Florida cities that made the top 20. Firstly, coming in at number six is Miami. Finally the other Florida city that comes in in the top 20 is Amelia Island. They didn’t do a study about this. They just came up with a list from their writers. Even though Tampa isn’t on the list there many romantic things to do here. It is reflected in the restaurants that were picked.
