Emotional Support Snake Found In Luggage At TPA
A snake was found in luggage at TPA. We all remember the movie, “Snakes on a Plane” right? Well, not sure if the was any cursing, but security screeners at Tampa International Airport noticed a strange image while screening through some carry-on luggage on Friday. Turns out it was a 4-foot-long boa constrictor in the x-ray machine.
And, yes, it’s happened before. You may remember there was a garter snake slithering out of a carry-on on a flight to Jersey back in October. In the case of the boa constrictor, the passenger claimed the snake was “an emotional support animal.” What? Didn’t matter as they said no airlines allow snakes in carry-on luggage. Some do allow snakes to be transported properly and safely in checked baggage. Traveling can be stressful. Would you like to travel with an emotional support snake? Get a cage, and check it.
