This mistake when printed is what makes them so special and valuable. In 1983, 7.7 billion 1-cent coins were manufactured, but only 5,000 of them have that error. Daniel Gilbert is the richest man in Michigan. The majority of Gilbert's fortune comes from Rocket Companies, the largest home mortgage lender in the US that closed $351 billion in mortgage volume in 2021. He owns about 1.4 billion shares in the company. He is also the owner of the National Basketball Association's Cleveland Cavaliers.
