Blake Shelton returned to Ole Red Nashville on November 30 for the official premiere party of USA Network's new celebrity game show, Barmageddon. The show stars executive producers Shelton and Carson Daly and also features host Nikki Bella. Highlights of the evening included bar game showdowns, a live social takeover, and a special musical performance by Shelton, who included the hit song and the venue's namesake, "Ol' Red," in the setlist.

In the eight-episode TV series, celebrities compete in a string of fun bar games hosted at Ole Red Nashville. Games include Air Cannon Cornhole, Keg Curling, Drunken Axe Hole, Sharts ("Shelton Darts"), and many more. Celebrity guests include Gwen Stefani, Sasha Banks, Trace Adkins, and Sheryl Crow. The series premiered last night (12/5) with Kane Brown as his first guest, and the guys played "King Pong" with giant ping pong paddles.

List of all celebrities appearing in the eight-episode series:

Gwen Stefani & Sheryl Crow - Shelton's wife, Gwen Stefani, is naturally one of the first celebrities to come to Barmageddon. She'll go up against Sheryl Crow.

Jimmie Johnson & Clint Bowyer - NASCAR fans know Jimmie Johnson as the legendary driver with jaw-dropping seven Cup Series wins under his belt. Despite retiring in 2020, he announced he's coming back to professional driving next season. He'll go up against Clint Bowyer, a fellow former stock car driver who now does NASCAR commentary professionally.

Jay Pharoah & Martin Kove - Comedian and actor Jay Pharoah, who fans may recognize from Saturday Night Live and the Showtime series White Famous, will go up against Karate Kid and Cobra Kai villain Martin Kove, best known for playing the nefarious Sensei John Kreese.

Sasha Banks & Brie Bella - It's a WWE night of Superstars with host Nikki Bella's sister, Brie, taking on Sasha Banks. Both women rose to fame by way of wrestling and have made great strides when it comes to opening up sports entertainment for women.

Trace Adkins and Mike Vrabel - It's not surprising that Trace Adkins makes his way to Ole Red, given his close and well-documented friendship with Blake Shelton. In true Barmageddon fashion, he'll play on a level playing field in bar games alongside former professional NFL player and current Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel.

Malin Akerman & Lil Rel Howery - It's a battle of the actors when Malin Akerman, best known for hit movies like Watchmen, Rock of Ages, and The Heartbreak Kid goes head-to-head with Lil Rel Howery, whose star has been on the rise since his scene-stealing performance in Get Out, that led to roles in comedies like Free Guy and Vacation Friends.

Chris Young & Elle King - Chris Young comes home to USA Network. Before becoming a well-known country artist, he got his start as the winner of Nashville Star, a competition series aired on USA Network. Now, he's joining his buddies at Ole Red to take on fellow musician Elle King.

Take a stroll through the last 20 years of People's Sexiest Men Alive. This year, the award went to Grey's Anatomy's neurosurgeon Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd. The long-awaited title is something we look forward to every year, and this year's choice has been worth the wait. The actor has never been given the title before, and with nearly 20 years of being television eye candy, the actor told the publication when he first heard the news, “I was completely shocked, and then I started laughing, like, this is a joke, right?” As for how his kids will respond, the Maine native insists they’re just going to make fun of him.

Humble Beginnings

Growing up in Maine, he recalled always having to be moving, so he took up a lot of sports like baseball, soccer, skiing, cycling." The Ferrari actor had dyslexia, so he didn't love school, and described himself as a "late bloomer." In his youth, Dempsey joined a vaudeville troupe and rode a unicycle while juggling.

Now, the key is maturity and wisdom for the Can't Buy Me Love alum. "You go through cycles of life, so you understand there are going to be high and low moments and what are the most important things. Everything else is a gift.” Despite his heartthrob status over the years, “I’m glad it’s happening at this point in my life,” he says of his new title.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and People magazine has their own taste. See the Sexiest Men Alive from the last 20 years below:
