All-You-Can-Drink Beer New Year’s Party Happening At St. Pete Brewery

We have good news AND bad news. The good news is that there's an awesome all-you-can-drink beer party on New Year's Eve at Avid Brewing. The bad news is that it will be your last chance to drink at the popular watering hole. The staple St. Pete brewery is closing its doors at the end of the year, but they wanted to go out with a bang.

The brewery is hosting a Grand Closing New Year's Eve Bash to celebrate the end of an era. They're inviting everyone to come out and help drain the taps in honor of their last day of business. Starting at 1p.m. on December 31st, you can pay $20 for all-you-can-drink beer. Huge discounts will also be available to any remaining inventory in their shop. Some local live music will be there to set the tone as well. The brewery announced local acts including: Low Season, Someattics and Ben Rodgers. More will be announced on the Facebook page as the event gets closer.

Avid Brewery at first was a storefront for home brewing supplies. They opened their taproom in 2018. Avid Brewing, and a lot of other businesses on Grand Central are having to close or relocate due to project developments. As of now, we do not know if Avid Brewing plans to open another location in the future.

There are so many ways to celebrate the holiday season in Tampa Bay. Something that's new to Pinellas this year is the Sippin' Santa pop up bar at The Honu in Dunedin. We went to see what all the hype was about this weekend and it did not disappoint! Here's everything we tried at Sippin' Santa pop up bar at The Honu in Dunedin.

The Honu is a Polynesian tiki bar and restaurant in downtown Dunedin and is home to the festive pop up bar, Sippin' Santa. This adorable pop up bar serves Christmas-themed drinks in the cutest festive glasses. They have 8 themed drinks on their menu, one of them is made to share between two people. Our favorite drink was the Yule Tide, made with tequila, applejack, lime, maple-cranberry syrup. Not only was it super tasty, but it was served in the cutest mermaid Santa glass! All of the cute and festive glasses are available for sale, they'll make great Christmas gifts for anyone in the family!

If you're looking for a fun, chill way to celebrate the holiday season, we highly recommend checking out this pop up bar! The Honu is a family friendly and dog friendly restaurant so bring the whole gang with you. Kids will love the fake snow and Christmas decorations everywhere.
