These are things that we want answers to: why did this Florida Man steal 85 pounds of shrimp?
The owner of a storage facility contacted the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office after discovering that the lock to the facility had been broken. Upon further investigation, deputies found a few items were missing: a trim tilt unit for an outboard engine, an air pump, a GPS unit, and 85 pounds of shrimp!
Luckily, the storage facility has a surveillance system. The deputies recognized the alleged thief, Florida Man Felipe Fonseca, from previous encounters with law enforcement. Fonseca was found quickly by the deputies and charged with burglary, larceny, possession of burglary tools, and damage to property. Here’s his mugshot:
