Ralphie is all grown up in Christmas story Christmas trailer.  We all remember the movie starring Peter Billingsley about getting your eye shot out with the Red Rider BB Gun.

Well, almost 40 years later, he is back in a sequel to A Christmas Story.  This time it is called A Christmas Story Christmas.  This looks amazing.  And wow, Ralphie still looks like Ralphie.

The new movie is described by Parade  as Ralphie attempting to reconnect with his inner child and reconcile with the death of his father by returning to Cleveland St. with his new family.   He is looking to give his kids in his hometown the same type of magical Christmas he once had.   During the trip, Ralphie will encounter childhood friends and make new ones. The upcoming release is set in the 1970s, given the 1983 film, “A Christmas Story,” was set in the 1940s.

This movie is such a classic during the holidays, both TNT and its sister station TBS begin the 24-hour marathon of A Christmas Story on Christmas Eve.

Other returning actors from the original film include Ian Petrella as Randy, Zack Ward as Scut Farkus, Scott Schwartz as Flick and R.D. Robb as Schwartz.

There have been other sequels but “A Christmas Story Christmas” will be separate from any of those.   1994’s “It Runs in the Family” or the TV musical “A Christmas Story Live!”

Little fun fact for ya, ,the original film was considered a failure when it came out, but now has become a beloved holiday favorite over the last few decades.

The film releases on HBO Max on Nov. 17.
