Military Mom Honors Son Currently Serving In The Army

Military mom honors son currently serving in the Army for our Military Monday this week. Zae is the military member we are honoring this week and he has been in the Army for two and a half years as a transportation manager. We love that Zae’s mom honored him, but we asked her what her reaction to him joining the military was. She says, “I definitely was very shocked and emotional. That’s my only child, so that even put more of emotions into it. It really surprised me when the recruiter arrived to my house for me to sign the document. But it definitely was an emotional, happy, bittersweet moment.”

Tampa Is One Of The Best Cities For Halloween

Tampa is one the best cities for Halloween according to Wallethub. The way they came up with their list is they compared the 100 largest U.S. cities based on 22 key metrics. Some of those metrics are: costume stores per capita, average price per Halloween party ticket, Trick-Or-Treater friendliness, Halloween fun and Halloween weather.

Tampa came is #20 on their list. Tampa is 49th in trick-or-teater friendliness, 12th in Halloween fun and 9th for Halloween weather. Orlando was also in the Top 20 where they landed at #11 on the list.

  • 1 - New York City

    NYC is #1 in friendliness and 3rd in Halloween fun, but they are 88th in Halloween weather.

  • 2 - San Francisco

    The are #2 on the list and also #2 in Halloween weather. They are also #6 in friendliness.

  • 3 - Miami

    Interesting that Miami is 30th in Halloween weather when Tampa is #9. I guess the heat really makes a difference in South Florida. Miami ranks in the Top 10 in friendliness and fun.

  • 4 - Los Angeles

    The only category Los Angeles is in the Top 10 is for fun. They are in the Top 20 for friendliness and fun.

  • 5 - San Diego

    San Diego is in the Top 25 is all categories, but is #4 for Halloween fun.

  • 6 - San Jose, CA

    San Jose is located near San Francisco and San Francisco is #2 for Halloween weather. Well, San Jose is #5 for weather.

  • 7 - Jersey City

    Jersey City is #2 in friendliness, but 59th in fun and 92nd for weather. #7 seems a little high for Jersey City on this list.

  • 8 - Las Vegas

    Las Vegas is known for fun and they rank #2 in Halloween fun. They also rank 50th in friendliness and 54th in weather, so #8 seems a little high.

  • 9 - Santa Ana, CA

    Santa Ana is located southeast of Los Angeles and Santa Ana is #7 in friendliness. They are also #66 in fun.

  • 10 - Boston

    Boston is #3 in friendliness, but 54th in fun and 87th for weather.
