Save 40 Cents On Gas Today In Tampa

You can save 40 cents on gas today in Tampa.  Even though gas prices have come down a little bit, they are still way above average and costing us too much.  Lots of people are cutting down on extra travel. Especially over this holiday weekend.  Well, if you're traveling, you're in luck.

Circle K locations across the country are celebrating Circle K Fuel Day.  You can save 40 cents on gas today in Tampa. It's their way of ending summer on a high note

According to their website, they wanted to offer those traveling over the Labor Day weekend some additional savings to end  summer on a high note.

This deal is only available today, Sept. 1st from 4pm - 7pm at Circle K gas stations that sell Circle K-branded fuel.  If you are in line before 7pm, you will still receive the 40 cent per gallon discount.

The price on the pump will include the discount during the promotion time.

Great time to take advantage of these savings.  We are also in hurrican season, so if you haven't stocked up on extra fuel for your generator, today would be a good time to do that.  Tell your friends that are landscapers and have to fuel their mowers and such, this is a huge savings for a lot of workers.

Where is the best place to date with your dog?  Well according to Yahoo, there are two cities right here in Tampa Bay area that made the top 10 list!

The report looked at things like:  dog ownership, number of singles, number of pet-friendly dating spots, and the cost of a date.  They also looked at environmental factors like the number of sunny days, hiking trails and rainfall.

Topping the list as the Best City for Dog-Loving Singles went to:  Charleston, thanks to having a large number of pet-friendly restaurants, breweries, beaches, and dog parks per capita.

But, the two cities in the area that made the list were Tampa at #7 and Sarasota at #10.
