It is every young baseball player's dream to play in the Little League World Series. Every August these young men get the chance to be featured on ESPN and are treated like they are in theMajor Leagues. However the biggest highlight so far was not a game winning hit but rather an amazing video of one Little Leaguer's Sportsmanship. It was a moment that along with the country, Tampa Bay's Morning Krewe will remember.

Tuesday's featured Little League game was between Texas East and Oklahoma in the Southwest Regional Championship. The two teams were competing and representing their respective regions. Unfortunately a fear that every parent shares became a reality.  Texas East pitcher Kaiden Shelton threw an inside fast ball that struck Oklahoma's batter Isaiah Jarvis in the head. Clearly unintentional, it was still a heart stopping moment for all. Jarvis laid face down on the ground while holding his head. First thoughts were how bad was he hit but fortunately his helmet took most of the blow and he stayed in the game.

Now to the real play of the game! Isaiah was standing on first base when he noticed Texas East's Kaiden Shelton visibly shaken about the wild pitch he just threw. Despite the game being very competitive, Jarvis walked to the mound to comfort his opponent. The Oklahoma youngster wrapped his arms around the pitcher and assured him that he was ok. Cheers from the crowd are heard in this amazing video of this Little Leaguer's sportsmanship.

As the Texas East coach, who was wearing a mic, approaches the mound you can hear Jarvis say "Hey, you're doing great. Let's go. Throw strikes." This act of sportsmanship not prompted by a coach or a parent is sure to be one that so many will remember and share.

What You Say To Your Kids On The First Day Of School

For most of the kids in the Tampa Bay area it's back to school this week. So, what do you say to your kids on their first day of school?

"You're capable of anything you set your mind to."

"It's about the journey, not just the destination."

"Treat others how you want to be treated."

"Don't let your peers' actions affect how you feel about yourself."

"Every mistake is a lesson."

"I believe in you and I support you."

"Magic happens outside of your comfort zone."

"I'm going to drop you off, then you'll meet your teacher, and have lunch…"

"I can't wait to hear about your day."

"Be yourself."
