First Responder Friday

The husband of a Pasco County EMT says "She wants to be there for others on their worst day." Lance called us for our First Responder Friday segment to tells us all about his wife, Heather.

Heather is a critical care EMT in Pasco County and has been doing the job for around 10 years. Lance tells us that she has been saving lives for about 30 years because she was a lifeguard before she was an EMT. Lance said in his nomination about Heather, "She goes to work every day with a smile, no matter how she feels. She works holidays, sacrificing her own happiness, in order to be there for people on the worst days of their lives."

Heather is the mom of two boys and Lance says that Heather is a great mom. When Heather isn't working they like to go on vacation. When we talked to Lance they were actually in Key West enjoying some time off.

Heather the Pasco EMT has worked through many tragedies, mass casualties and the pandemic. Lance is very proud of his wife and we are so glad that he called him to share her story with us.

Congrats to Heather as she receives a $100 Visa gift card from Crown Buick GMC. She also receives a $100 Visa gift card from Demesmin and Dover Law Firm.
