Talk about a unique get-away vehicle! A Florida Man uses a riding lawn mower to try and escape from deputies!
The Florida Man in this story, Dusty Mobley, was wanted by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office after an incident in January. During that interaction with deputies regarding a stolen boat, Mobley dove into the swamp and got away from them. You can see him jumping into the swamp in the pic:
This time it was different. Deputies ran into Mobley again and of course he tried to flee. The Florida Man hopped on a lawn mower and tried to escape from the long arm of the law. Much to Mobley’s disappointment, the deputies got him after using their tasers!
That’s him on his choice of escape vehicle.
Mobley now faces a bunch of charges: grand theft, grand theft of a vehicle, felony criminal mischief, two counts of resisting an officer, possession of a concealed weapon by a felon, carrying a concealed handcuff key, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony failure to appear. The Florida Man is being held without bond in the Okaloosa County Jail.
