Bolts Fans Have Lots To Look Forward To As Schedule Is Released
The Tampa Bay Lightning just released their regular season schedule. Looks like Bolts fans have some rematches to look forward to. There will be a total of 82 games.
Bolts favorite, Ryan McDonagh will be returning to Tampa on December 8th , which happens to be Launa’s birthday, wonder if that’s a coincidence? Ryan McDonagh was traded to the Nashville Predators earlier this week.
McDonagh’s $6.75 million cap hit became a luxury the Bolts could no longer afford. So, the Lightning made the trade and McDonagh agreed to waive his no-trade clause for Nashville, who in turn sent back Philippe Myers and Grant Mismash to Tampa Bay.
Another game bolts fans have to look forward to is the rematch of the Stanley Cup, the Bolts take on the Colorado Avalanche on Feb. 9th at Amalie Arena.
Oct. 11, the Bolts will open their season at Madison Square Garden, taking on the New York Rangers.
The team’s home opener is Oct. 18 against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Bolts will play all NHL teams a minimum of two times. They play 41 home games and 41 away games. They are home for 6 games December 3rd – 15th and seven of the nice games in October are on the road.

When are we seeing you at @AmalieArena this season?
Even though we lost Ryan McDonagh, this is still going to be a big year for the Bolts. We have all our guys back and hopefully they are resting now and healing after all of the injuries they were playing with, because practice will be starting up in a few weeks.
