The 4th of July is quickly approaching and it occurs on a Monday this year. There are many places in the Tampa Bay area to watch fireworks and below is a list of where you can find them.
City of Tampa’s Boom By The Bay
Happening on Monday, July 4th and it is the largest-ever fireworks display along Tampa’s iconic Bayshore Boulevard.
There will be food trucks, live entertainment, and waterfront views of the largest firework display.
The fireworks begin at dusk.
The Fourth at the St. Pete Pier
This is the inaugural “The Fourth” Independence Day Celebration. It is happening July 2, 3 and 4th. “This 3-day event is filled with fun activities for all, including the inaugural St. Pete Pier Run, Silent Disco, Gulp Coast Craft Beer Garden, Food Trucks & Vendors, Pie Eating Contest, Live Music on the Visit St. Pete Clearwater Main Stage, Karaoke, Independence Day Movie, roaming entertainers, and so much more!
The traditional Fourth of July fireworks show sponsored by the City of St. Pete is scheduled for Sunday, July 4th, at 9 pm and will be visible from the entire Downtown waterfront, including Bayshore Dr., Straub Parks, Vinoy Park, and others.”
Clearwater Celebrates America
Happening on Monday, July 4th at BayCare Ballpark. It will be the “largest fireworks display in ballpark history” and will have “fun activities and giveaways for kids of all ages. All-American culinary concessions, such as hamburgers, hot dogs and popcorn, will be available on-site for purchase, as well as adult beverages.”
Gates open at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m.
Lakeland’s Red, White and Kaboom
Happening at Lake Mirror along the Frances Langford Promenade in Lakeland on Sunday, July 3rd from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Fireworks will be happening at 9 p.m.
Plant City’s July 4th Celebration
It is taking place at Plant City Stadium on Monday, July 4th with fireworks going off at 9 p.m. Free admission with $5 per car for parking. There will be fun filled activities in the grass on the field.
Other places having 4th of July festivities are Temple Terrace, Dunedin, Largo, Treasure Island.
