Police Bomb Squad Removes 80 Year Old Bomb From Florida Beach
Talk about nerves of steel! A Police bomb squad was called to remove an 80 year-old bomb from a Florida beach.
Fort Pierce Police received a call from someone walking on the beach who noticed something suspicious. What the caller saw was a vintage WWII detonator drop bomb. It appears that the 80 year-old bomb washed up on the Florida beach.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad was called and did what they train for.

The Bomb Squad disposed of the bomb in an undisclosed location and the beach was reopened.
