No Fan Fest For The Rays This Year
The Tampa Bay Rays start the baseball season on Friday against the Orioles at the Trop, but they won’t be having their annual Fan Fest this season. The reason is because of the shortened schedule of spring training due to the player lockout.
The Rays did announce this year’s promotional giveaways that you can get at the Trop this season. Here are just a few of them: On April 23 you can get a Randy Arozarena bobblehead, on July 16th they will be giving out a Wander Franco bobblehead and on June 21st you can get a Mike Zunino bobblehead.
If you are headed to the opening game on Friday the Rays will be giving out a 2022 schedule magnet. Before the game Ferg’s Sports Bar and Grill next to the Trop is throwing a big party on Friday. They will open at 10 a.m. and have live music before and after the 3:10 p.m. game.
